"My first time to eat here. It's my mom's hometown and she has eaten here many times. I ordered the 2 meat plate with Brisket and jalapeno sausage. My wife had 2 meat plate with sausage and Turkey. My sliced Brisket was so tender it fell apart. It didn't have the smoke flavor that I love so I used the BBQ sauce to enhance the flavor. The sausage was great. It has bits of jalapenos and cheese mixed with the pork. Our waitress was awesome. I wish I could remember her name. I do know this, she is the tallest female staff. She saw me drawing on the paper table covering so she asked do you want some crayons. I said yes. She kept our drinks filled with 10 people at our table. We were eating with family members after visitation at the funeral home. Next time we are in town I will definitely eat here."

"I had the Cuban sandwich today and it was very good! It has pulled pork, ham, tomatoes and pickles on it. It also has mustard and I put Tabasco on it. Our service was very fast and our waitress was very sweet. She made sure that we had everything we needed and checked on us multiple times which is a plus! Thank you Sydney for the wonderful service "

"Solid 4. Quick friendly service. Fast food, as is typical for Bbq. We had the Chopmess. The lunch special. It was pretty good. It's difficult to find a bbq sandwich with coleslaw on it. The bun was really good too."

"I thought it was good. I'm from NYC though, so I wouldn't know better than a Texan. The texture of the brisket was very soft and I enjoyed how it broke apart very easily with a fork. The flavor in the brisket wasn't overwhelming, but it was complemented well with the barbecue sauce. The jalapeno sausage had a good bite to it and was definitely spicy. I asked the waitress what her recommended sides were, and she suggested pinto beans and the baked potato. She said the Mac and cheese wasn't her favorite but I got it anyway. The Mac and cheese was very creamy. The pinto beans were spicy. I caved and got the banana pudding, which was presented well and tasted great. Overall, I'd recommend, as I thought everything was good."

"We stopped here with our kids for lunch while traveling through the area. We ordered burgers, sandwiches, fries, & fried pickles & loved all of it. Our kids also loved drawing on the butcher paper table coverings. Fantastic food, fair pricing, & attentive & friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!"
